Daily Duties at Shields Nursing Centers:
Full cycle of Accounts Receivable starting from billing Medical, Medicare, Cigna, HMO & Private. Collecting payments, Posting Cash Receipts & Bank Deposits, doing their aging & audit, follow up for the pending & overdue accounts. Preparing hard copy claims, unpaid claims, adjustments & appeals for claims. Reconciling Remittance advice against claims. Solving enquiries of Suppliers, family members regarding the patient status, past due accounts & other related matters. Update & Verify Census & RAM (Software) with changes (admit, re- admit, discharge, behold, change in payor type etc.) & balancing the Census. Preparing & transmitting TAR & maintaining a control sheet for TAR & MDS & updating RAM with any changes & preparing CMN, reviewing ancillary list with doctor’s note. Maintaining complete record of patient, cash receipts, remittance advice, claims, and invoices & billing documents. Verifying the eligibility & share of cost for the patient.
