Daily Duties at The Childrens Hospital:

_ Completed the successful project administration and commissioning of a new 1.4 million sq.ft. $600 million dollar replacement children’s hospital. - Project managed the strategic design, development, construction and operational commissioning of a new 50,000 sq.ft. Ambulatory/surgical center, Broomfield, CO. - Project managed the design, development, construction and operational commissioning of a 10,000 sq.ft build-out of unoccupied building shell space creating an in-pt care unit in four and a half months. - Started, developed and supervised the successful completion of over $10 million in capital improvements/year. - Spearheaded the creation, development, and supervised the deployment of the hospital business plan for electronic/on-line management of operation and design documents. - Established critical partnerships with pre-qualified general and sub-contractors for on-going work in the new hospital and with University of Colorado, Denver, CO; established contracts and service agreements. - Collaborative member on team that developed and deployed infection control construction protocols now recognized as the national standard for healthcare facilities. - Collaborative member on team that completed and submitted licenses and certifications with Joint Commission, CDPHE, FAA, CLIA, and Tri-County Health. - Administrator for four multi-physician, multi-group practices with greater than 34,000 visits annually. - Planned, directed, organized and coordinated delivery of healthcare services in an academic health care setting both within the hospital and at off-site settings for 75 pediatricians, both attending and pediatric residents, for seven years. - Developed, and managed annual budgets, monitored profitability goals, physician employment contracts, and provided direct reports to corporate officers. - Accountable and responsible for the billing and collection of clinical income: implemented policies and procedures for billing, insurance coordination and collections. - Created, gathered and managed statistical databases to optimize CQI, business metrics, improve multi-group practice profitability. - Designed and managed trending/metric reports of provider productivity. Formulated teaching feedback models for providers to improve individual productivity and profitability. - Recognized coalition builder: retains skilled employees and minimizes staff turn-over; able to effectively communicate up, and down the organizational structure. - Superior customer service skills both with internal and external clients: 98% customer satisfaction reported from service surveys.
