Daily Duties at Pacific Coast Cabling:

Key responsibilities included maintenance and growth of existing customer base. Consulting directly with customers to identify and define their specific connectivity needs with new construction, remodels, inside, outside plant cabling environments as well as designing and delivery of projects completed within a fixed timeframe. The position required Microsoft Office skills as well as MS Project, AutoCAD and Visio software utilization. Working environments include high-rise, education, corporate campus, data center, central office, medical, government, production and financial environments. Some memorable accomplishments include: • Awarded CSULB campus infrastructure upgrade project valued at approximately $4.7M in 2004. Developing the winning response and was responsible for managing the engineering, creating the RFP response and the supervision of a 6 man estimating team. The project estimation ran for 4 months. • A (3) year project working with Anixter Inc. at Desert Sands Unified School District, (15) K-12 campuses were renovated including (8) schools that were all installed within a (3) month window in the summer of 2005. • JPMChase a recent addition to the customer list; installed 6 sites for their real estate group over the past (2) years. They are a very dynamic company with many of their jobs being designed on the fly based upon discussions with the customer who had often never even seen the jobsites. Performance was exceptional, value added support was recognized. • Nutrilite/Amway has been a long standing customer that relied on design input for all their Southern California projects, a good value added relationship was earned.
