 IT project manager of new distribution sites. I/T setup of new branches & tool cribs in factories (Integrated Supply Management).  Windows 2000, 2003 Network Engineering, Administration: Design & installation of all Windows 2000 through Windows 2003 servers on Active Directory forest. Setup Windows 2000 Active Directory system for 20 servers, 14 branches & 200 users. Project management of Windows 2000 network conversion from Novell 4.12 & 5.11 network. Converted to Active Directory from NDS, Novell Directory Service. Upgraded all Windows 2000 domain controllers to Windows 2003. Converted to Windows 2003 AD native mode. Setup group policies for all users on network. Designed, installed, maintained DNS; DHCP; WINS; Domain Controllers; printer servers; file servers; SQL & other databases; IIS 6.0 & WEB; proxy servers; jukebox backup server; Great Plains Accounting system for payroll; clock reference system; RAID disk array; DFS; NFS; VPN; SSH; Symantec Anti-Virus Server-Corporate Edition; terminal server; UNIX gateway server. Responsible for all upgrades & updates of servers and network systems. Proficient in use & support of 2000 WS and XP Professional as well as all MS Office applications.  Exchange & Messaging Email Systems: Installation of Microsoft Exchange 5.5. Design & migration to Windows 2003 Exchange system. Configuration of Postfix on Linux Red Hat & administered Sendmail on AIX servers. Postmaster of corporate email system.  Email Security: Designed and converted to Internet email smart host on a Linux using Postfix program. Setup (DCC server) anti-spam & anti-virus system for incoming email traffic on using Spam-Assassin Red Hat Linux Internet email server.  Network Security: Installed proxy Internet servers. Installed and maintain tape array jute box on Windows 2000 server to backup all nodes on WAN using first Legato Networker, then converted to ArcServe 2K, the converted to VERITAS Backup Exec. Setup reference clock server for all network nodes through DHCP in AD. Installed & implemented Symantec Anti-Virus Server Corporate Edition on Windows 2003 servers protecting all nodes on WAN.  IIS & Apache Servers: Assisted with Intranet and Internet WEB Windows IIS sites maintenance using FrontPage 2000. Setup Apache & Tomcat server on Linux Red Hat for Internet products catalog site.  UNIX System Engineering & Administration: Managed RS/6000s P6 Servers with AIX 4.3/5.2 OS, HP Proliant Servers with SCO 5.07 and Red Hat Linux OS nested on TCP/IP LAN & WAN network. Responsible for upgrades of OS and installation of all software products. Conversion of database software (Prophet 21) to new AIX P620 box, met deadline. Configured & maintained Digi Port Servers (terminal servers) on WAN for use of P620 & RS/6000s. Setup Linux box for Internet DNS server. Shell script programming. Setup fax servers on P620 & RS/6000 AIX boxes.  LAN, WAN & Internet Engineering & Administration: Local Area Network setup on Ethernet backbone switches using 10/100/1000BaseT. Designed and project management rewiring of network using category 5e compliant components--met deadline. Setup Shiva RAS for dial-in users. WAN conversion from PPP on multiplexed system to frame relay at 14 remote sites--met deadline. Configure and maintain WAN connectivity of 19 remote sites using 2 T1s on frame relay cloud with 3600, 2600 and 1600 Cisco Routers--ISO version of 11.xx & 12.xx. Working knowledge of static routing, RIP & IGRP dynamic protocols. WAN connection and setup of 5 offices in Mexico--met deadline. TCP/IP reconfiguration of Intranet WAN. Extensive use of various utilities to troubleshoot WAN problems & issues. Design & installation of Internet firewall and VPN configuration using Cisco PIX Firewall connected to SDSL, ADSL or T1 lines. Use of NAT connectivity of nodes through Cisco PIX firewall to Intranet. VPN configuration with PPTP and IPSec protocols for firewall solution using WatchGuard FireBox on Linux platform--used for remote connectivity. Manage all company Internet domains through VeriSign. Setup VeriSign & Network Solutions SSH for WEB servers. Converted to new WAN Frame Relay Network with different Telco vendor.  Novell Network Engineering & Administration: Maintained Novell 4.1X & 5.11 network using NDS; responsibilities include all OS software installation & administration. Installed NFS services on network.  Y2K Management & Implantation: All network servers and UNIX boxes--met deadline.  Telecommunications: PBX administrator of Merlin Legend /Audix system on a T1 PRI.  System, Procedure, Project Management, Documentation: Extensive use of MS Project Manager, Visio, MS PowerPoint and Office 2003 Professional. Wrote IT users’ policy for Lewis Supply Company.
