Daily Duties at Vf Corporation:
Selected achievements included designing and executing highly focused audit programs for manufacturing businesses including Wrangler and other companies. Primary focus of work in the textile industry ● Served as part of the Internal Audit Department. Responsible for designing operational audits to improve deficiencies and inefficiencies. Prepared and delivered audit reports. ● Also performed consultative duties to the external auditors in their financial statement audit to help improve performance in all areas. ● Evaluated internal controls of manufacturing plants and head offices of corporate textile manufacturers' divisions. ● Division level audits concentrated on: accounts receivable management, accounts payable, sales, and cash management. ● Supervised audit teams of two to four staff auditors ● During audits, discovered internal control weaknesses which caused plants to operate unproductively. Demonstrated obsolescence of inventory and inventory loss due to theft/misplaced items.
