Daily Duties at Madison River Communications:
In my position as Internal Controls Manager, I was responsible for coordinating and maintaining all of the company’s internal control activities. ● Project management of the Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 implementation project, including project oversight and coordination of documentation, mediation, testing and all certification efforts ● Coordination of ongoing management testing of controls ● Coordination of all internal audit activities and the internal controls portion of the external audit ● Acting as a single point of contact for company-wide communication and training around internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley ● Active management of the resolution of all outstanding internal and external audit findings related to internal controls. ● As the Internal Controls Manager I have extensive coordination and communications responsibilities with all areas of the company, both within and outside of the finance organization.
