Daily Duties at Imm Investment Corporation:
•The Face Shop Korea Co., Ltd. (‘TFS’) TFS is a Korea based cosmetic company worth market capital value over USD 400 million (KRW 560 billion in Dec. 2009). IMM formed a consortium with Singapore based hedge fund, Mulberry Capital to acquire 90% equity of the TFS. The role was to research marketability and actual business figures of the TFS in Korea and Asia. The result allowed IMM to be extensively informed of TFS and its market. •Celltrion, Inc. Celltrion is a Korea based biopharmaceutical manufacturer which is one of IMM’s main portfolio company (owns over 10% of its equity). The role was to research any international biopharmaceutical related bills and government policies that would include US bills H.R. 1427 & S. 726. The result prepared IMM to come up with effective counter plans. •Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited Temasek is an investment company that manages Singaporean government funds. The role was to assist writing a Private Placement Memorandum and to communicate with a Hong Kong based law firm, Kirkland and Ellis Int’1 LLP, for fund raising. The result improved IMM’s fundraising preparation. •Shown dedication and flexibility by working elongated hours on a daily basis.
