Daily Duties at Paypal:
Developed testing plans and procedures for fledgling QA team. Created, reviewed and executed black box and gray box test cases. Logged and reviewed results of test cases and bugs found. Interfaced with development and product management to ensure ambiguities in specifications were resolved. • Hired, mentored, managed and largely built the initial QA team at PayPal virtually from scratch. • Motivated team to reduce customer-affecting issues by over 20% while continuing to work long hours during early startup conditions. • Initiated and developed a fake credit card generator that resulted in a 15% boost in productivity. Tool was used over 20 million times and a version of it is still in use at PayPal as of early 2009.
