- Analyzed sales trends and stock levels by vendor in order to plan and drive the dress shirt and neckwear business - $310M in volume 2006 - Monitored merchandise performance based on sales, mark downs, and gross margins in order to make recommendations to drive business across all seven divisions of Macy’s Corp. - Visited Macy’s stores and competitive stores monthly to absorb and then present to merchants; customer feedback, trend assessment, promotional activity, and missed opportunities in areas to capitalize. - Identified best selling items, projected and recommended purchase quantities to all divisions which increased neckwear sales by 8%. - Developed strong effective alliances with all Macy’s Buyers as well as the Dress Shirt and Neckwear market community to improve overall quality and success of the business. - Reviewed spreadsheets and reports to complete thorough business analysis in order to maximize sales.
