Daily Duties at Morgan Stanley Facilities:

Divisional Project Manager for the Western Division for Morgan Stanley for over ten years. This area comprised more than 125 office locations, 75% of these locations were corporate interior projects and 25% were free standing buildings. Responsibilities included all phases of facilities design, construction and management. Worked with real estate to provide site recommendations and review leases as well as prepared budgets, site analysis, design options and presented recommendations to senior management. Prepared annual Capital Plans. In fiscal 2007 managed 53 large projects and 50 small projects totaling over $39,000,000. Was the sole contact for both headquarters and local management for all of these projects and managed teams of local A&E firms, contractors and in house consultants. In all cases, negotiated with the business units involved regarding spaces, design and finishes, made decisions prioritizing changes, recommended value engineering solutions and maintained project schedules and budgets. Provided on site architectural expertise to make critical decisions needed to maintain design integrity while maintaining all phases of a construction schedule to assure the timely completion of projects or phases of large projects.
