Daily Duties at Nelson Group Architects & Engineers:
Responsible for developing new client relationships while maintaining existing ones. Created and made client presentations, administered contracts and managed teams for a wide variety of projects. As Project Director, recent projects included corporate restacks from 200,000 to over 500,000 RSF, a very high tech international transaction center as well as a number of building retrofits. Provided senior project management services to corporations and business units. Worked directly with the users or as part of a team as the professional adviser, coordinator and implementer of all design and construction services. Managed teams responsible for producing the design, design development, construction documents, bidding and construction implementation for large scale multi-phase projects. Also led a number of discussion groups to investigate innovations in design, technology and construction systems and was part of an in depth study group to foster LEED accreditation within the corporation.
