Daily Duties at Wake County Public Defender's Office:
- Represent indigent defendants for misdemeanor charges as well as defendants - Investigate defendants background, conduct legal research pertaining to the case, write motions and briefs, negotiate settlements for my clients and file appropriate papers with the court - Analyze facts, evidence and legal instruments and make conclusions and/or arguments in oral and written form
