Daily Duties at Northwestern Mutual Financial Services:
Daily calls to prospective clients referred by friends or existing clients. Set and confirm appointments to meet with prospects to discuss their financial goals to include self-assessment of current life insurance and investment portfolio. Emphasis on determining families' need for new or additional coverage in the event premature death or disability that would alter household earnings or impact families' financial condition and/ or families' ability to function in its current state financially. Recommend plan(s) for college savings, long-term care and retirement etc through investments or policies. Perform in-depth, extremely personal and thought pervoking Q&A to determine prospects financial needs and their priorities and cater proposals geared to those priorities based on budget provided. Perform medical questionaires and order physicals through 3rd party provider to forward to underwriting for client's insurance rating. Collect initial premium and submit proposed policies to underwriting for final approval and issuance. Deliver, in-person, policy(s) to clients for review and acceptance. Request referrals to contact and/ or meet other prospects.
