Provided large-scale core project management of IBM based e-business/e-commerce solutions, as well as full Notes administration / migration assistance. Building hardware/software architecture on HP, Compaq 5000/6000 series and all IBM models. Designed/implemented web, E-mail, and database strategies to coexist with legacy systems. Specialized at the time in in R4 to R5 migrations, integrating Domino / Websphere server on AS/400, NT and Unix OS390-based systems. Projects included cc:Mail to Lotus Notes, MS Exchange to Lotus Notes, Novell to MS Metaframe migrations, network communications, testing, and security audits. Mentored and supervised associates to reach MBO goals. Projects / Accomplishments: Dyersburg Fabrics (Lumberton, NC). Project consisted of ground-up solutions including ERP Oracle Solution, Novell migration to MS Solution, establishing Lotus Notes / Domino E-mail, and core business-related databases. Created/built 15 servers and 1,200 WYSE thin-clients for 10 locations on the East Coast. Caliber Technologies (Akron, OH). Project focus was upgrading existing Lotus Notes / Domino OS 390 environment to latest version. Corrected Domino web-site security and excessive semaphore time-outs. Established development server and client software upgrades via Novell SMS. Borden Capital Management Partners (Columbus, OH). One-year contract to replace Administrator that was leaving company. Was further retained by client to oversee complete Notes Network. Corrected numerous SMTP / MTA and cc: mail MTA communication problems. Tracked and identified hacker during security audit. Turned evidence over to FBI. Celina Insurance, Inc. (Celina, OH). Successfully migrated Windows server based Domino mail and database system to AS/400 platform. Cardinal Health, Inc. (Dublin, OH). Built and developed End Solution of Lotus Notes / Domino Mail and Database Servers. Began migration of 15,000 seat migration of cc:Mail to Notes.
