Daily Duties at Supervalu:

I spend much of my time with responsibility for sourcing competitive cost of goods, supplier relationships, negotiations and managing supply chain logistics in order to help my team develop a portfolio of brands that differentiated our customer’s Own Brand program from their competition. Key Accomplishments “Wild Harvest” private label natural/organic line, part of core team to develop over 300 SKU’s across grocery-dairy-frozen-produce categories. Increase sales 18% for natural/organic category, $125 million in total sales. Total cost of goods savings of $4 million in 2009. Involved in multiple cross functional teams to identify goals, simply processes, manage and measure execution.
