Oversaw project operations for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Central Data Exchange. Prepared successful work area task plans and developed strategies/plans to ensure delivery of efficient, customized solutions. Established budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans. Managed 7-10 projects simultaneously and leveraged technologies including Java, JSP, Oracle, and the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), specification for Web Services. Presented status and progress reports to client. Directed a 15-member team. Added over $1M in value to Task Order by taking ownership of a failing project and spearheading an emergency “tiger team” to expedite deployment of solutions. Resolved all outstanding issues and implemented enhancements (including substantial reverse engineering necessitated by the unavailability of the incumbent contractor’s source code). Delivered projects on time and within budgets; minimized risk of overruns by apprising clients when costs reached 70%, 80%, and 90% of forecasts. Practice Manager
