Daily Duties at Shaw Aero Devices:
•Reduced Supply Chain cycle time by an average of 30% through process mapping decisions and implementation of Dock-to- Stock programs. •Initiated Early Supplier Involvement in new Design/Build programs for aircraft fuel, oil, and water and waste systems. Reduced overall design cost since inception. • Developed and implemented a Supplier Certification and Rating program reducing material rejections by up to 45%. •Reduced material and process cost for 2000 by $1.2 million through negotiations LEAN manufacturing, work improvement programs and Theory of Constraints applications. •Led team consisting of Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, LTA administration, Marketing, Supplier Quality Management and Estimating. Goal: Increase through-put contributions for both new and existing programs. •Established Kan-Ban Systems for raw materials, castings and hardware requirements. •Reviews ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions. Conducted internal ISO audits. •Acted as Program Manager for FAA PMA activities.
