Daily Duties at Bcs Agencies – Ibm/North Caribbean District:

Performed installation, maintenance, upgrade, training, and troubleshooting of AS/400 and RS/6000 platforms for this IBM presence providing cross-platform, cross-product solutions to BCS and IBM clients. Work extensively with AIX, Windows 9x/2000/NT/XP, UNIX and OS/400 in LAN/WAN situations. Responsible for telecommunications, firewalls, and network administration as well as marketing and training clients in new technologies. Clients include Banking Industry, Insurance, Telecommunications, Police Departments, School Districts, among others. Generated significant revenue by initiating and supporting rollout of iSeries Performance Management System at 65 corporate sites as well as System Expert Process (OS/AIX) for RS/6000 machines, which enabled client involvement in next generation of operating systems and hardware solutions and provided justification for spending large amounts of funds for services. Created Business-Specific security architectures and hierarchies for Clients internal usage. Utilizing a Tivoli-style structure, in a very User-Friendly format. Consistently provided clients with superb service by utilizing IBM’s extensive knowledge base and efficient workmanship to meet each customer’s unique needs and allow future growth.
