Assigned to Union Carbide Chemical Plant in Texas City. Worked on upgrading facilities (in-plant small projects). Designed and specified vessels/tanks, pressure safety devices, firewater systems and environmental remedial applications; chemical toxic vapor collection and incineration. Assisted plant construction and maintenance groups in various tasks. Performed various mechanical /feed studies. Also assigned to John Zink Company in Tulsa, OK. Prepared design and proposals to customers for Burners and Duct Burner Systems, thermal oxidizers, waste heat recovery boilers, flares, and air pollution control systems.
