Daily Duties at Lucent Technologies :
Lead software engineer for Fast Ethernet Private Lan (FEPL) circuit pack for the legacy DDM-2000 SONET Add-Drop Multiplexer. Led a team of five developers in successful delivery of the software features for the new FEPL circuit pack to BellSouth. In addition to the leadership role, I was hands-on and made significant contributions to the development effort. The work was done in pSOS+ environment using c, XRAY+ source-level debugger. Major Contributions • Designed, developed and integrated a number of features including: Software Infrastructure (Boot State Machine, Pack recognition, Database, and Configuration Management), Provisioning, X-connects, LAN/WAN and VT Performance Monitoring (collected information at device level), Fault Detection and Isolation, Auto-Negotiation.
