Daily Duties at Ibm:
Level 1 and 2 help desk support via phone, fax, e-mail, internet, etc. for 54+ Customers Monitor UNIX, NT and VAX servers and server processes for commercial customers Act as a focal point for critical server issues initiated by system monitoring or via pager Provide Account Administation for Commercial Customers Record Problems,Changes and Request for service in a Problem and Change Management Tool for each Commercial Customer Assisting new employees with obtaining their needed ID's. Scheduling for adequate coverage. Also managing request for vacation and other needed time off. Attending customer Problem and Change calls in order to address any issues between Support and Distributed Ops. Assist in the training of new operators.
