Xpectra Work Values

Daily Duties at Xpectra:

Started as a Quality inspector of a plastic injection molding plant. My duties included inspection of cosmetics, dimensions, and all variational data that would cause a product to fail for an internal or external customer. Promoted to Quality Engineer in Feb. 2001. Duties included writing the procedures for the operators and inspectors. Wrote and initiated the procedures that take a product from receiving the raw material to the final shipment of finished goods. Also initiated what was called a P.P.A.P.(Production Part Approval Process), where text and photos were explained to the new customer, the operator, and all plant management that the part was a viable and quality part. Managed and trained quality inspectors in the use of SPC and programs such as MPACT. Also trained and managed the machine operators. Very involved in the in the QS 9000 certification we received in that year. Duties also included using many inspection tools including a CMM and a MicroVu vision system.
