Daily Duties at Chattahoochee Elementary School :

Created an effective classroom learning environment making it possible for all students to achieve success. Researched and developed unique curriculum to meet student’s needs therefore increasing test scores, reading level, and number of passing students. Designed and implemented daily lesson plans and teaching units to cover curriculum. Facilitated, instructed, and evaluated students daily in order to identify learning strengths and weaknesses. Recorded, organized, and maintained student records. Created monthly newsletters, handouts, posters, banners, games, file folders, storyboards, and classroom material. Planned and coordinated field trips for kindergarten classes. Co designed new kindergarten report card to align with the Georgia teaching standards. Created and organized a kindergarten handbook for coworkers and future employees. Served as the Student Support Team coordinator for K-2 in order to keep parents and faculty informed on each child’s progress. Created and supervised end of year program to include handouts, speakers, entertainment, and decorations. Assisted with stage and set design for the Grass Roots Art Grant Festival.
