Managed Purchasing Team of 5 professional buyers including total purchasing budget of $600 million, negotiated global contracts for corporate commodities, and consolidated purchases for all commodities. Rationalized department needs in a corporate level and consolidated supplier base. Developed, implemented, and managed strategic sourcing and annual forecasting trends for paper stock ($480 million), recycling program ($240 million), corporate travel ($8 million), energy ($19 million), ink and chemicals ($15 million), and production commodities ($19 million). Achieved annual bottom line savings of $19 million and consolidated purchases & inventories for 40 locations.
