Led 20-member Desktop & Administration support team of Technicians and Network, UNIX, and Oracle / SQL Database Administrators, managing daily support calls and coordinating workflow between UNIX and DBA groups. Directed processing of new computer requests; completed purchasing, set up software / network / email accounts and user access, and scheduled installations. Tracked IT assets and managed warranty service contracts, software licenses, and vendor support. Key Achievements:  Streamlined workstation installation by ghosting images for Windows 2000, Office Professional, Outlook Mail, and Netscape.  Installed and configured network for Art Department with Mac G3s & G4s and running OS 10, ensuring complete connectivity with numerous printing, scanning, and copying devices.  Worked closely with developers to perform beta testing on Windows 2000 and XP desktop systems and servers; adeptly utilized PVCS and Version Tracker to manage code changes.
