Provided analysis and requirement definitions to convert Great West Life Health Care Bank Reconciliation and Accounting Systems acquired by CIGNA •Modified the Bank Reconciliation and Accounting programs and JCL to execute on Cigna’s mainframe. •Performed Quality Assurance and testing tasks for Accounting and Bank Reconciliation Systems •Trained CIGNA Programming and Quality Assurance personnel to support the Accounting and Bank Reconciliation Systems •Managed meetings on the Accounting and Bank Reconciliation Systems requirements •worked with the Business Continuity Planning team to define the responsibilities and resources necessary to respond to the disruption to business operations •Successfully restored and tested the ACH, Bank Reconciliation and Payroll systems •Created test plans and executed Unit, Systems and UAT tests for the ACH, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll and Check Printing systems •Supported Payroll/HR, Bank Reconciliation, Corporate Automated Payment System which, creates electronic fund transfer (EFT) transactions for use in the Automated Clearing House (ACH) •Provided business analysis and quality assurance for the Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Escheat, Corporate Tax Systems and z/OS upgrade •Provided maintenance support for vendor supplied payroll system/HR, which ran on mainframe and PC platforms •On-call support for production problems, routine maintenance including bug fixes, changes required to keep application running •Liaised with vendors and business users to resolve day-to-day problems and make process changes. •Uploaded the Vendor updates and applied them to the GEAC Payroll Systems •Applied Federal, State, and Local Tax updates for the different taxing entities •Maintained the Corporate Tax System •Gathered and analyzed information to develop and modify data processing systems •Identified Users’ needs to ascertain and implement systems that meet business requirements •Created and maintained JCL for Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Corporate Tax, and ACH. •Coordinated with Production Control to set up schedules and triggers for batch jobs. •Designed, coded and tested applications, following departmental standards •Wrote Request for Information and Request for Proposal’s to replace the obsolete Corporate Tax System
