Daily Duties at Bwr Corp:

Supervised and assumed responsible charge of traffic studies and traffic signal designs, conducting all studies to Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) standards. NOTABLE PROJECTS: • Project Manager: City of Blue Springs, Missouri, and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT); provided Traffic Signal Modifications as well as new Traffic Installations at seven (7) intersections, requiring: o Fiber optic interconnect with optimized traffic signal timing provided over three (3) peak periods; o Existing cable television provider allowing for pan / tilt / zoom cameras and full motion video; o Autoscope video detection, Opticom preemption capability as well as NEMA Econolite controllers. • Project Manager: Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas; developed Traffic Signal Design and fiber optic interconnect for intersections, created signal plans using Synchro and delivered final product in TSPPD Draft. • Project Manger: City of Overland Park, Kansas; managed Construction Services for Traffic Signal Designs at ten (10) intersections, requiring redesign of sidewalk and bicycle paths due to changes to initial specifications.
