Daily Duties at Farmers Insurance Group:
Growth operation involving non-standard auto claims including liability and physical damages aspects of the claims organization. Managed 50+ employees with over 7 direct reports. Created and implemented company Catastrophe Operation program which served during auto claims handling from Hurricane Ike. As a result of the strategy, 90% of customer claims were settled within 6 weeks from the event occurrence with $1.2 million in loss payments for customer autos. Established an operational objective regarding early resolution strategy on third party injury claims. Within 12 months, my operation was amongst the top third operations in the company to settle over 65% of direct injury claims within 30 days. This was also a loss cost avoidance of 9.4% less on average paid per claim. Initiated and developed strategy for on-site rental management due to rental volume and severity trend. After 6 months with the highest volume of rentals to customers in the company due to growth, average cycle time for rentals reduced by 12% with a loss cost avoidance of over $137,000 over the same period of time.
