Daily Duties at Pershing Llc:
• Involved with daily NSCC trade reporting for domestic and offshore mutual fund transactions. • Responsible for maintaining strong communication with fund companies and Individual Broker Dealers in regards to trading activity, changing fund policies and procedures, market timing restrictions, and all other queries. • Perform daily operational tasks such as settlement breaks, trade reconciliation, dividend adjustments, NSCC trade rejects, various IBD initiated projects and system/database maintenance. • Collaborate with transfer agency liaisons and fund companies to identify and analyze trading system issues that arise due to fund mergers, brokerage conversions, and other unique issues. • Provide support to clients by maintaining and assisting in keeping principal/client trading accounts in accordance with SEC guidelines. • Work with internal management to review current operational procedures and find ways to increase efficiency and streamline administrative processes in conjunction with newly implemented trading platform. • Assist omni trading with reconciliation, P&L, and other house account maintenance. • Obtained detailed knowledge of mutual fund financial service operations and investing trends.
