 Assisted in preparation of financial statements, worked with external CPA  Responsible for the general ledger, job costs, bank reconciliations, and full-cycle accounts payable for 3 project accounts  Created month-end and year-end reporting financial statements  Responsible for payroll and filed quarterly taxes  Reconciled payroll tax reporting after each pay run to ensure accurate filings by tax service provider  Handled all bank transactions and correspondences with loan officers  Developed and maintained reports and files on the Accounts Payable processing  Input general ledger entries for account changes  Developed and maintained regular reports via the company’s accounting system  Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries and compiles documents for travel-related meetings  Supervised and trained accounting clerks Selected Contributions:  Led initiative to convert manual accounting system into state-of-the-art company wide automation. Selected software and populated new databases with existing and historical accounting records.  Constructed first totally comprehensive filing system for past and current branch office projects
