Estimator • Assisted Accounts Payable staff to ensure invoice pricing is per quoted price • Provided estimated quotes to include: cost of labor and materials, contracted clients, and competitive bids • Efficiently worked with industry standards, internal departments, and regional vendors in development of competitive price estimates • Analyzed changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost • Analyzed actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs Accounts Payable Analyst • Controlled invoice reports, uninvoiced purchase receipts, and labor reports • Assisted purchasing and receiving staff in correcting errors • Verified the accuracy of invoices and other supporting documents or records • Developed daily vouchered invoices, payroll documentation, and account receivables back-up files • Researched and resolved invoice processing discrepancies and customer account issues • Responsible for preparation of bi-weekly payroll for over 150 employees, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets • Assisted with month-end closing and back-up for Accounts Receivable • Assisted in training other clerical personnel • Selected Contributions:  Improved client satisfaction 23% by providing complex quote data and supporting documentation.  Provided crucial estimating data necessary for on time launch of new $680,000 software program.  Commended for providing essential client quote to general manager for on time bid. Last minute vendor changes distorted provisions; immediate identification/correction resulted in winning bid.  Initiated departmental “Basic Accounting Training.” Immediate results reduced errors by 38%.  Streamlined cumbersome paper accounts payable process with electronic filing enhancement, monthly accruals and cash conversion cycle decreased more than 25%.
