• Responsible for daily maintenance of office and accounting operations: * labor compliance * purchasing * subcontractor payments * budget * accounts receivable * human resources * time & material billing * and others * accounts payables * project coding * cost accounting • Managed office assistants and provided training • Ensured project costs are properly allocated and appropriately coded under existing job accounts • Problem solver and resolves account discrepancies • Supervised staff involved in preparing and/or reviewing financial transactions to ensure that transactions are processed in accordance with company policy, applicable laws and regulations, and sound business practices • Developed performance job tasks, evaluate job performance and recommend appropriate actions to correct performance deficiencies • Handled personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc. Selected Contributions:  Developed first-ever continuity book for managers and office assistants. Streamlined and markedly improved efficiency while directly enhancing training and job performance.  Processed 170 error free monthly invoices averaging more than $160,000.  Saved $24,222 through careful vendor selection and competitive pricing of services/products.
