Daily Duties at Nigro Nigro & White:

• Responsible in writing audit reports to present to clients • Analyze information, business processes, and new systems • Assess management of business and risk, made recommendations on improving internal controls and provided bottom-line oriented solutions • Examine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of establishment and prepare financial reports concerning operating procedures • Review data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures • Analyze Accounts (e.g.: Prepaid Expenses, Deposits, Accrued Expenses, Investments, Capital Leases, etc.) • Analyze Trends, Actual / Budget Costs, Prior / Current Year-End Reports, etc. • Inspect items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions • Examine company payroll and personnel records to determine compliance Selected Contributions:  Participated in the Interim and Year-End audit of 18 school districts and non-profit organizations  Developed macros on Excel spreadsheet currently in use with the newly integrated ProSystems to reduced entry time. Assisted with the ProSystems training
