Daily Duties at Cardinal Laboratories:

Conduct wet chemistry analysis for priority pollutants from industrial effluent Analysis of waste water for Total Phosphorous (TP), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Organic Phosphorous, Cyanide, Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia, Particulates, fecal coliform bacteria. Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate probes and balances used in analysis of water samples Conduct QA/QC in conjunction with test samples Test for heavy metals in industrial effluent using Flame Ion Detection and atomic absorption techniques. Ran offsite laboratory for metals testing GC/MS analysis of VOCs, PAH, and PCBs
