Daily Duties at East Houston Surgery Center:

•Supervised re-syndication of facility to investing physicians. •Supervised a 2.2 million dollar transaction that allowed the physician investors to buy-out the Managing Partner and Management Agreement. •Responsible for all bookkeeping functions such as general ledger, monthly financials, yearly budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. •Organize and chair quarterly Medical Advisory Board, Governing Board and Investor meetings. •Served as a corporate officer of Governing Board, Medical Executive and Quality Assurance Committee. •Responsible for continued negotiates and up-keep of all managed care contracts in order to maintain smart revenue streams. •Supervise twenty-eight full and part time employees. •Responsible for facility promotions and physician recruitment. •Oversee all clinical and financial operations of a four OR, 2 treatment room ambulatory surgery center. •Initiated and lead physicians through the due diligence and sale of operating entity to Symbion, Inc.
