Started an Independent Agency from scratch, purchased and merged two other independent agencies into one. Reduced loss ratio 25% in first 6 months. Established office training manuals, recruit staff and developed operation guidelines, converted to paperless office. Transitioned office from an 80% substandard book to a balanced book: 40% substandard and 60% preferred with the cross selling of Home, Auto, Life and Commercial Products. Develop and retain a highly competent staff and a profitable agency force to create a long-term positive impact on the company’s ability to achieve the planned combined ratio.
