Daily Duties at Johnson & Johnson:
Managed and supervised staff of six AS/400 RPG III Software developers for key Vision Care systems including Order Entry, Inventory Control, Distribution, and Accounts Receivables. Performed hands-on management role which included programming duties. • Authored and implemented system on AS/400 for ANI (Automatic Number Identification) linked to telecommunications system, which greatly improved customer service and shortened call times. This was joint project between Vistakon, IBM, and ROLM. • Received US Patent for the architecture of first ever Integrated System in the contact lens market for initial and ongoing supply of disposable contact lenses (ACUVUE). • Managed six programmers in the development and roll-out of Vistakon’s ACUVUE disposable contact lens system
