Daily Duties at Johnson & Johnson:
Designed and directed development of Global Intranet for Vision Care franchise of Johnson & Johnson, including Vision Care Global, Vistakon North America, Vistakon Asia-Pacific and Vistakon Latin-America Intranet sites, with nearly 40 sub-sites. • Directed and coordinated efforts of Global Services and IT Corporate Resources to migrate Intranet to Microsoft SharePoint platform, providing better user experience, improved content management and collaboration tools, and greatly enhanced search engine. • Provided technical, management, and development support of Vistakon’s eFax system. This project resulted in reducing manpower needs in Customer Service by 3 FTE’s and provided greater accuracy in processing faxed orders. • Managed and coordinated IT Corporate launch of first Vision Care Portal (MyVisioncare.jnj.com), using ATG/Documentum platform. This project provided Vistakon with a common Intranet development platform, content management environment, and rapid site creation with a common user interface (CUI) for all sites.
