Daily Duties at Brewer Automotive Components Inc:
• The PC manager is responsible for the group getting product to the customer. One of our largest customer problems that the production control group faced was the shipment of correctly labeled product. Through continued group focus and refinement of process and procedure we were able to reduce our kpm (kanban per million) from hundreds to zero. KPM has stayed at zero since 2007. Toyota valued KPM because our product was delivered directly to line from the shipping dock. If the product was not labeled correctly there was a potential that the line would be shut down. • During this time period BAC went through a major design change to every product it made. Production control was responsible for making the changes happen without interrupting delivery and keeping obsolescence and rework to a minimum.
What they like about Brewer Automotive Components Inc:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
