Daily Duties at Chapman Concrete Products Hardaway Concrete/Aggregate Industries:

Sales Manager for a Regional Ready Mixed Concrete Company serving the Upstate of South Carolina. Focused on SCDOT Bridge and Roadwork, Wastewater, Commercial, Industrial, and Residential projects. Built relationships to become an asset to our customers base for long term growth. Utilized the lead generation program Salesforce.com to capture Contacts, Organizations, Opportunities, Quotes, and Sales Orders. Built Forecasts for product usage by production plant. Managed Cost Centers through P&L review and Dashboards. Monitored company OPI's to measure key performance indicators. Responsible for budgeted average selling prices and volumes. Captured won/loss information for market share determination. Coached internal and external sales team to look for value added selling opportunities and identify key account customer prospects, give excellent customer service, and focus on customer retention. Hardaway Concrete/Aggregate Industries purchased Chapman Concrete Products in May 2008. Became a key member in merging the two companies. Retained Sales Manager position after the merger. Gained invaluable experience going through the merger and economic downtown since the Fall of 2008. Prior to the merger, had a very successful business despite the total number of competitors in the market. Consistently achieved to be the top Independent Producer in our Market that included International Vertically Integrated Conglomerates and small Independent Suppliers. Named to Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Board of Directors from 2006 to 2007. Instrumental in increasing revenues by 48% from 2005 to 2007.
