Daily Duties at Bluestar Machined Products:
Programmed new aluminum die cast and extruded parts high speed production machining including set ups and fixtures. Management of a Visteon project and programming of Stama 326 twin spindle CNC mill. Gained “hands on” detail knowledge of auto industry practices in PPAP, FEMA and 8d corrective action procedures. Teamed with Quality staff on CMM data interpretation. Teamed with Engineering staff on new product introduction. Scheduled and purchased materials and tooling. Completed outsourcing as required. Company ceased operation in 2002 and the Visteon project moved to R.K. Die Casting in Celina OH.
