Daily Duties at Acuson Corporation:
·Developed and managed the evaluation frame work to select primary vendors for a newly developed, critically important, strategic, and high revenue-producing product. Successfully supplied all necessary material to fulfill sales orders during tight time constraints, project/vendor uncertainties, and a forecast that increased well outside the planning flex fence. ·Managed PCA turn - key supply base, ensuring flexible and efficient supply chain. ·Led and mentored cross-functional team in weekly CSI meetings and published reports for superior operational metrics (quality, cost, and delivery). ·Directed all OEM peripheral supplier contracts, riders, and annual purchases. ·Performed individual, and team, vendor evaluation and negotiation for both new and existing products, and reported findings to Engineering and Manufacturing management. ·Negotiated a 65% cost reduction for product manuals and literature for annual savings of $390K. ·Collaborated with others to accomplish department and organizational goals, playing an active role in meetings, sharing ideas and opinions. Established mutual support and trust by respecting the contributions and perspectives of others.
