Daily Duties at Emerge Technologies, Inc.:
I provided strategic direction and hands-on leadership in all operational areas of the employee owned company. Held direct accountability for P&L, budgeting, business development, customer relations, financial administration, and technology management and training/mentoring. I had 17 direct report employees ranging from line staff to engineers to IT professionals. • Redesigned, selected, installed and trained personnel on new computing environment, including; customer retention, AR/AP, CAD/CAM and MS Office Suite software. • Instituted company-wide lean business processes initiative for more than 10 projects. • Cut annual IT budget 60% through selective outsourcing, annual needs assessment and staying current with technology trends appropriate to business strategy. • Designed and implemented corporate IT risk management and mitigation strategy. • Project champion and lead for two complete ERP implementations. • ISO9001:2000 champion. Planned, organized and initiated ISO9001:2000 certification.
