Daily Duties at City Of Atlana/ Hr:

•Serves as Project Manager on Human Resources Management Systems (Oracle). •Responsible for maintaining integrity of employee data entered into the HR/Payroll database. •Responsible for designing and reviewing error reports which may illustrate data inconsistencies, determining when documents are incomplete and request missing information from appropriate department. •Responsible for designing and maintaining the HRIS reporting system which provides data from system to various individuals and departments. •Answers inquiries and negotiates/resolves problems regarding interdepartmental work flow from Department of Finance and City-Wide Departments to the Human Resources Department which affect timely processing of payroll. •Recommends changes in format and data to be included in forms submitted by these offices to the Human Resources Management Staff for pay purposes. •Oversees design and maintenance of the HR Web Page. Designs interactive forms. •Represents HR in planning and executing ERP Software Enhancements including data mapping, table validation, and data migration, implementation of new Banner modules and features, and change control. •Represents HR on Data Standards Committees. •Strategically partners with employment, benefits, payroll, compensation, employee relations, IS, and other departments to enhance the effectiveness of HRIS systems. •Manages all HRIS functions related to Human Resources applications and administration including interviewing, selecting and training employees; setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; planning and directing work; appraising productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status •Ensures ongoing regular communication regarding status of all HRIS projects. •Designs and conducts presentations related to functionality of the HR Payroll system. •Anticipates needs of the department by designing and generating customized user-friendly reports to assist in management in HR activities and programs. •Identifies and provides training to support applications and team members. •Develops written guidelines and procedures to be used in the processing of HR/Payroll transactions. •Serves as initial point of contact for all HRIS issues
