Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente:

Lead Project Manager for WEB Projects/Web Sphere – client server, hardware/software installations. Led enterprise-wide projects and project information in all stages of project management. (project scope, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, closing and responsibilities. T Project Manager managing the “new” kp.org website project • KPStars • Health Connect  WIN/NT and AIX/UNIX server upgrades for hardware/software (My Chart, eChart-electronic medical records)  GUI Interfaces (Windows compatible)  Supported SQL database development testing with developers  Managed Web Sphere and Web Logic upgrades  Assisted in Project approvals and Re-Charge Agreements for projects  Creator of multi-MS Project Timelines  Set up “kick off” meetings for all new projects (initiation, budgets, schedules, etc)  Interfaced with various support service providers for team project work  Continued to complete PMP certification (7 classes) more to complete Consultant / Project Manager – Kaiser Permanente Aug. – Oct. 1999 Lead Project Manager Managed a Unix-support group who were responsible for multiple hardware upgrades on AIX, SUN servers, and WEB software/hardware installations, Firewall upgrades, server migrations and software patches. (Web Sphere projects and Change Management- Remedy/ Vantive support ) Consultant / Primary Project Manager for Unix Services Call Centers with the Y2K Projects (Lead Support Manager to three systems programmers) Key Achievements:  Responsible for all platform upgrades to adhere to Y2K compliance  Created many various project timelines for 11 call centers and 15 additional projects to complete by 1999  Assisted with testing dates, organized departmental programmer support with backups, restores, networking updates and “go live” implementation support  Lead on conference calls with various call center issues  (Completed twelve projects in the Unix Server Services group from Aug - Oct/1999)
