Daily Duties at Consulting Companies:
Review claims that are not being paid, find errors and correct. Train staff on correct billing and to know when a claim has not paid correctly. Read contracts with vendors. Know coding errors and what code is needed to get claim paid. Read medical records for coding issues. Know if claim was paid in or out of network. Make calls to vendors to get corrections done. Write appeals if needed. Other things that are needed to get claims paid and staff trained. This is what I do on every job I am sent to. Have been doing this for 13yrs
