•Analyzed/identified actual vs. plan/forecast variances, explained variance drivers, and recommended appropriate courses of action to correct overruns; prepared monthly cost centers budget report to the senior leadership team for reviewing and planning. •Analyzed various business prices and prepared NAF revenue report; provided financial statistics analysis results for inclusion in the monthly management package. •Maintained corporate accounting/financial models and systems providing meaningful analyses and information to be used by analytical team for financial and operational analyses, planning, and decision making. •Involved monthly health plans rebate revenue analysis; rebate payments processing and commission fee calculation. •Monitored/managed Note Receivable Portfolio based on pay down or withdrawal, calculated interest and prepared entry of interest accrual/adjustment. •Prepared month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations and 1099 issues. •Prepared and consolidated financial statements for states under regulatory compliance. •Assisted in corporate tax preparation; managed payroll tax, income tax issues from states and IRS; and filed property/sales tax returns. •Assisted the assistant Controller in directing accounting functions, and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures (SOX404) as well as supervised staffs as needs.
