Daily Duties at Samsung Electronics America (Creative Channel Services):
Maximize the market performance of Samsung consumer electronics in the Greater Denver region. Responsible for the performance of 75 retail outlets. Drive results at key accounts such as Best Buy, Sears, and Ultimate Electronics. Work independently from in-home office; report to SF-based Regional Sales Manager. • Plan, promote and deliver sales training and product demonstrations for groups of five to 35 client sales staff, at the individual store and regional levels. • Initiate and build business relationships with Store General Managers to ensure optimal operational and merchandising follow-up for Samsung products. • Work one-on-one with client sales staff on product and market knowledge. • Drive accountability through aggressive use of metrics and clear objective setting. • Create and manage sales contests that have generated significant results and earned National recognition. Breakthrough Performance highlights for 2009, measured nationally against 70 peers: • Plasma TV: performed 101% above the national average. • LCD TV: performed 15% above the national average. • Home Theater In a Box: performed 15% above the national average. • Blu-Ray: performed 14% above the national average. • Currently rank in Top Ten in the Nation, in sales volume and rate of growth • Currently rank #1 in the West Coast, in sales volume and rate of growth
