Daily Duties at Tamko Building Products:
Corporate Engineering and Construction - Operations Manager – Webb City, MO Manage the newly formed Corporate Maintenance Department. TAMKO E&C was formed and functions as an industrial contractor whose only clients are TAMKO facilities. Expertise included HVAC and process ducting (including stainless steel), asphalt, steam, water, and chemical process piping as well as all other industrial project disciplines. • Establish procedures for new department. • Determine the most effective use of “start up capital” for new department. • Identify and recruit mechanical and electrical personnel. • Initiate and maintain customer relationships with personnel at each of TAMKO’s 15 facilities. • Provide “onsite” project / manpower management to assure project success. • Subject matter expert for industry projects to 5 project engineers. • DOT adminstrator for 8 vehicles and 10 drivers. • Initiate, manage and “advertise” TAMKO’s optical alignment services to all facilities. • Manage and administrate the corporations Optical Alignment service program. • Safety Coordinator complying to CFR 1910 and 1926 (30 hour training course completed in both).
