Daily Duties at Motorola:
Continued working on the development and testing of base radio enhancement features to reduce dropped calls in fringe areas while maintaining the best possible audio quality under the signal conditions. • Completed redesign of automation software for testing new base radio software to help reduce the rate of dropped calls in fringe areas while maintaining the best audio quality possible under the signal conditions. This automation software allowed for more testing to be completed by fewer engineers. • Completed all audio quality testing on the base radio enhancements as well as assisted on the completion of the signal quality testing. This testing was completed on four different base radio platforms that were in use by the customer. • Developed other automation tools using LabView to interface with the iDEN cellular phones to allow for testing to be run remotely. • Assisted the team to complete the entire customer acceptance test plan within our lab that resulted in a successful completion of the testing and acceptance by the customer for the base radio enhancements. This resulted in millions of dollars of revenue for Motorola. Received a Customer Satisfaction Quality Award for completing all of the testing with no issues presented by the customer.
